Infrared Saunas for Recovery & Contrast Therapy Studios
Sunlighten is the world's leading infrared sauna brand, partnering with recovery and contrast therapy studios to put patented infrared, with red light in Amplify™RED and mPulse, at the center of every contrast session.

The sauna is the center of the session
Hot and cold, in the same visit
Whether you're opening a sauna and cold plunge business or adding infrared to a recovery studio, the sauna is the hot side of every contrast session. Infrared delivers it without a stove or special ventilation, and it is low maintenance between clients.
- Private suites for one- or two-person sessions
- Red light therapy in Amplify™RED and mPulse®, plus near, mid and far infrared
- Single sessions, packages or memberships from the same suite
Three ways to set up your suites

Amplify™RED brings high heat, integrated red light and near infrared, and halogen warm-up to a 2- to 4-person suite, planned at least five feet from your cold plunge.
Providing not just the training and the nutrition, but now actually providing the recovery — that sets you apart.
Which sauna fits your studio?
Every sauna below uses patented SoloCarbon® heaters with 95-99% emissivity and ultra-low EMF. Amplify™RED and mPulse® both add red light therapy: Amplify™RED surrounds users with red and near-infrared light throughout the cabin, and mPulse® delivers each wavelength separately. Each cabin is double-wall constructed and insulated, and 20-30% heavier than comparable models.

Capacity: 2, 3 or 4 people
Light: Red light and near infrared integrated throughout the cabin, plus full-spectrum near, mid and far infrared
Heat: Up to 170°F in ideal conditions, with extra halogen heaters for faster warm-up
Power: 240V/20A dedicated circuit
Best for: Contrast suites where clients want red light and a deeper, faster sweat

Sunlighten infrared sauna
| Heat source | Infrared radiant heaters emit wavelengths that heat the body directly |
| Temperature range* | 100-170°F |
| Installation | Cabins plug into a dedicated circuit; no special ventilation |
| Maintenance | Low; easy to clean between clients |
| Experience | Non-stifling heat can make for comfortable, energizing recovery sessions. |
| How heat works | The body absorbs infrared energy directly; the sauna's heat can also raise body temperature. |

Traditional sauna
| Heat source | A stove heats the air |
| Temperature range* | 160-200°F |
| Installation | Needs proper insulation and ventilation |
| Maintenance | Moderate; wood care and cleaning |
| Experience | The hotter, more intense air can feel stifling and uncomfortable, driving a hard, fast sweat and often shorter sessions. |
| How heat works | An electric or wood-fired heater heats the air, which transfers heat to the body and can raise body temperature. |

Recovery studio sauna FAQs
A contrast therapy studio pairs infrared sauna suites with cold plunge and shower areas. Each sauna needs a dedicated circuit and must sit at least five feet from cold plunges and showers to keep warranty coverage. A commercial specialist can help plan the layout.
Plan at least five feet between each sauna and any cold plunge, shower or tub. Sunlighten's warranty is void if a sauna is installed closer than five feet to a water source that produces liquid or vapor.
Red light (650 nanometers) and infrared sit next to each other on the light spectrum. Infrared is invisible and felt as radiant heat, and it separates into three bands: near (880 nanometers), mid (6.7 microns) and far (9.4 microns). Amplify™RED integrates red light and near infrared throughout the cabin alongside full-spectrum heat, and mPulse® delivers red light and each infrared band separately through PulseIQ™.
You can sell single sessions, packages or memberships. Sunlighten's Sales Guide models pay-per-minute pricing at $1.00 to $1.50 a minute; a commercial specialist can model your options.
Limited in-stock models can deliver in 7 to 10 days. Lead times for other models and custom rooms vary, so share your opening date when you request pricing.
